About us
Darkhorse Powersports opened in October 2026 at 712 Southwest Blvd in Clinton. We sell ATVs, side-by-sides, dirt bikes, pit bikes, go-karts and scooters from KYMCO, Kayo, BLP Moto and Drift Hero, plus used Harleys. We also handle financing, parts and service. Every machine we sell is assembled and inspected in-house, we back it with local support, and our pricing is upfront, with no games.
We're a small crew, so this isn't a job where you wait by the door for the next customer. In one day you might sell a side-by-side, help a parent pick out a first pit bike, walk a buyer through a financing application, help unload a shipment and answer the phone. If that sounds like a good day, read on.
What you'll do
- Help customers find the right machine for how they ride, work and spend, and explain it in plain language.
- Give honest, upfront prices, with no pressure and no games.
- Walk buyers through their financing options and help them fill out lender applications. Our lenders make the credit decisions; we don't pull credit.
- Follow up with leads and past customers by phone, text, email and in person.
- Keep the showroom sharp: units clean, tagged and ready to ride.
- Pitch in wherever the day needs you: receiving and setting up units, the parts counter, events, and getting the word out.
- Bring ideas. If something could work better, say so, then help fix it.
Who you are
- You see what needs doing and do it without being asked.
- You care how the customer is treated after the sale, because they're your customers too.
- You're happy to wear many hats. You'd rather pitch in than say “that's not my job.”
- You're invested in the business doing well, not just in getting through a shift.
- You're honest and easy to talk to, whether it's a first-time buyer or a lifelong rider.
- You're dependable and you follow through.
- You can work our store hours, including Saturdays (Mon–Fri 10–6, Sat 10–3).
Nice to have (not required)
- Automotive or powersports sales experience
- Experience with dealership financing or lender applications
- You ride, or you know your way around ATVs, side-by-sides or dirt bikes
- You're comfortable with social media, texting customers and basic computer work
No experience? If you have the drive, we'll teach you the rest.
